Hobbies
I love languages! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, helping people improve their English (as a second language) online, and practicing my Portuguese. Currently, I'm learning Cantonese to better communicate with a friend who lives nearby. In addition, I like watching classic films, salsa dancing and taking long walks with my husband and our dogs. I'm also a former competitive artistic roller skater. As a language professional, I'm interested in Sociolinguistics, especially language identity and codeswitching.
