I attended the College of New Jersey for my bachelor's degree in mathematics with a specialty in statistics. My tutoring experience includes helping friends, peers, and classmates as an undergraduate with various college level coursework. I believe I'm a good tutor because I am patient, supportive, and compassionate. It often takes time and trying explanations in multiple different ways to help students understand something that they struggle with, and I'm totally okay with that. Everybody learns using their own learning style and pace. I know that I myself always became more interested in math and my instructors related concepts we studied to applications of them in the real world or to things I found interesting. I enjoy doing the same thing for my students. I can tutor algebra, calculus, pre-calculus, statistics, trigonometry, multivariable calculus, discrete math, and test preparation for the SAT. When I have free time, I like to watch baseball, play the drums and guitar, play video games, and edit video.
